Lore[edit | edit source]

Behind any great event, there’s someone behind the scenes making sure that everything goes juuuust right. When you’re in charge, it puts so many demands on your attention. Are the steeds fed and/or oiled? Are the weapons polished? Are the murlocs moistened? With so much to do, it’s hard to pin the Coliseum Manager down.[1]

This card is likely based on the role of "Coliseum Master", held in World of Warcraft by Barrett Ramsey. As a non-legendary card, there appear to be multiple coliseum managers/masters, which is understandable given the scale of the event. Ramsey may also have stepped down at the end of the Argent Tournament.
