Lore[edit | edit source]

Dimensional Rippers are devices that can be created by Goblin Engineers in World of Warcraft and allow for teleportation to specific locations. They come in two varities: Dimensional Ripper - Everlook, which transports the user to the town of Everlook in Winterspring, and Dimensional Ripper - Area 52, which transports the user to Area 52 in the Netherstorm. As is typical for Goblin Engineering devices, both Dimensional Rippers have a high rate of malfunction and can induce a number of strange effects on the user, such as temporarily transforming their appearance or depositing them high up in the air above their intended destination instead of on the ground.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The scientists on the card art have the Omega symbol on their clothing. The workers in background also bear heavy resemblance to  Omega Agent and  Omega Medic. This might imply Dimensional Ripper was originally designed as an Omega card, but was changed to naturally cost 10 mana and the mechanic call-back instead went to  Omega Devastator.
