Notes

To edit these notes, go to Template:Earthquake notes.

  • All damage and death triggers caused by the initial damage will resolve before the second round.
eg: A  SN1P-SN4P is destroyed by the first round, summoning both Microbots before the second activates.
eg: You have a  Wrath of Air Totem in play, causing the spell to deal 6 damage. Its death resolves, causing the second round to only deal 2.
  • Earthquake forces all deaths to resolve. Even in cases where deaths would not normally process, such as drawing multiple Scrolls of Wonder or the Battlecry of  Drustvar Horror, deaths will process before further effects take place.

Lore[edit | edit source]

Earthquake originally appeared as the Ultimate ability for the Far Seer hero unit in Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, where it causes the Far Seer to channel an earthquake in a large area for up to 25 seconds, continuously damaging buildings and significantly slowing units. In World of Warcraft, Earthquake is an Elemental shaman ability which instantly causes an earthquake in a target area for 6 seconds, damaging and sometimes knocking down enemies caught in it.
