Lore
A variety of dark big cat hunting in the shadow, panthers are found in the Lost Isles, Swamp of Sorrows, and all over Stranglethorn Vale. In World of Warcraft, stealthed panthers are commonly found in Stranglethorn Vale, where they often surprise characters by sneaking up on them while in stealth.
Trivia
- The artwork for this card comes from the World of Warcraft Trading Card Game "Tomb of the Forgotten" series, for the card Alaria the Huntress.
- This card's art actually depicts a night elf druid in Cat Form. Similar to the clefthoof depicted in Stampeding Kodo's art, this art was likely chosen due to a lack of superior art depicting actual panthers.
- Although this card's flavor text references Stranglethorn Vale, and despite the fact that various panther mobs in World of Warcraft (such as Panthers, Skullsplitter Panthers and Shadowmaw Panthers) can be found in the jungles of Stranglethorn, the specific mobs called Jungle Panthers are found only on the Lost Isles.
