- The artwork for this card comes from the World of Warcraft Trading Card Game "Tomb of the Forgotten" series, for the card Nargle, Fang of the Swarm.
- Murloc Warleader was a part of MRLGRL! It’s Time to Welcome Nerglish Players to the Inn!, an April Fools joke in 2018 where it was announced that Hearthstone would be fully localized in Nerglish.
