Lore

Plaguebringers tend to be slightly more practical than the average apothecary. They deal with the logistics of deploying the plague. They are affiliated with the Royal Apothecary Society of the Forsaken and the Cult of the Damned of the Scourge.

Trivia

  • Plaguebringer was added to the Basic set in patch 14.6.0.31761 to make up for the fact that the rogue class would otherwise have one less card available in Standard format due to  Vanish being moved to the Wild format in the Hall of Fame set.[1]
  • Plaguebringer was designed with the intent of providing rogues with an additional way to destroy minions as well as further establishing the class as the masters of Poisonous effects.[1]
