Hitting Sylvanas?

The opposite, actually; Deathrattles (and indeed deaths) don't take place until after everything else has happened. That's why Sabotage won't destroy Tirion's Ashbringer. It's always possible this card will be intentionally programmed as an exception (there have been some, like Poison Seeds) but it seems very unlikely. So in this scenario the card would deal damage and summon a minion, and then any Deathrattles will play out, meaning Sylvanas would steal the minion. Also, just as further notes, Bane of Dooming an enemy Sylvanas will trigger her deathrattle, allowing her to take control of the newly summoned minion from Bane of Doom. Aegonostic (talk) 16:14, 7 August 2016 (UTC)
