Coin + Wild Growth? => Excess Mana?

Does playing coin on Turn 9 (with 9 mana crystals), then playing Wild Growth generate Excess Mana? Aegonostic (talk) 21:06, 19 August 2016 (UTC)

Just quickly ran a test, it does not generate Excess Mana; writing into article. Aegonostic (talk) 21:17, 19 August 2016 (UTC)

For both cards, the mana cost was 2. So, at 9 filled mana crystals, I play Coin, then a 2-mana Wild Growth, yielding no Excess Mana, then play another Wild Growth for 2 mana, and get Excess Mana. Aegonostic (talk) 23:51, 19 August 2016 (UTC)
