Template:Bulk Up strategy

Bulk Up is useful in slow handbuff decks, where it can create extra copies of priority minions like Mor'shan Elite and Carnival Clown. If your deck can reliably draw these cards, it may be useful to run a low number of other Taunt minions in order to help guarantee that Bulk Up hits your desired target. Otherwise, running too few Taunts risks occasionally leaving Bulk Up a dead card in your hand.

If you play Bulk Up after buffing a minion with Feat of Strength, the extra copy will retain the +5/+5 bonus. It doesn't matter if you play Bulk Up before or after playing a hand-wide buff like Conditioning (Rank 1) or Into the Fray.
