A strong defensive Dragon that fits well in spell-heavy midrange lists or dragon decks. With a sturdy 6 health and a relatively low-impact effect, it's not always necessary to activate the Spellburst on the same turn this is summoned since your opponent isn't likely to destroy it (or if they do, it effectively had soft taunt already).

Bringing Crimson Hothead to 4 attack can be helpful against Priests, letting it dodge Shadow Word: Pain.

In more aggressive metas, more reliable Taunts like Bone Wraith or Twilight Guardian can be used instead, guaranteeing the Taunt effect with a reasonable body.
