Template:High Abbess Alura strategy
Alura can fit in almost every deck, especially buff oriented decks. While she has obvious synergy with buff spells like 
Power Infusion and 
Blessing of Authority, she can also be used to cast untargeted spells for free, like 
A New Challenger..., Avenging Wrath, 
Zerek's Cloning Gallery, or 
Soul Mirror. However, you should avoid including cards like Shadow Word: Pain and Hammer of Wrath, which can cause her effect to backfire.
Be careful when putting Lay on Hands in a deck with Alura. Her effect can overdraw cards and you will lose the healing part.
Alura comboes with cheap cards that summon copies of minions like Gift of Luminance or 
Vivid Nightmare. This will allow you to trigger her effect and summon another copy with her Spellburst still active.
