Template:Kidnap notes

From Hearthstone Wiki

When Kidnap triggers, it removes the opposing minion from play, summons a  Kidnapper's Sack in its place and stores the minion in the Sack. Then the controller of Kidnap takes control of the Sack. When the Sack is destroyed, the minion is returned to the opponent's hand.[1]

  • Kidnap will not trigger while the player's board is full.[2]
  • Since Kidnap is timed as an "after" trigger instead of "whenever", the minion will trigger its Battlecry[3] and any Colossal appendages will be summoned[4] first before being moved into the Sack.
  • The minion stored in the Sack will retain enchantments it had before being played upon being returned to the hand.[5]
  • If the Sack leaves play, the minion inside will be lost.[6]
