Necromechanic has basically the same effect as Baron Rivendare, where they are best used in Deathrattle focused decks. Numerous cards such as 
Spider Bomb and 
Oblivitron all benefit from Necromechanic. Unlike Baron Rivendare, however, Necromechanic is a decent tempo play and is more likely to trade favorably with enemy minions. In all other aspects, Necromechanic is a replacement to Baron Rivendare.
