- Rend's Battlecry allows the player to destroy a legendary minion, provided there is one on the board. It will not target or destroy a
Lord Jaraxxus hero, but can destroy the Lord Jaraxxus minion, such as when copied through Mirror Entity or put into play by 
Voidcaller.[1] - Rend's Battlecry works like all other non-specific Battlecries.[2] This means that it must be used if possible. As a result, if the only legendary minion on the board when it is played is your own, that minion will be destroyed.[3] If there are no legendary minions on the board, the Battlecry will have no effect.[4] Rend cannot target himself, although he can target other Rends.[4]
