The Steel Sentinel is a boss found in the League of Explorers adventure. It is the second boss in the adventure's fourth and final wing, Hall of Explorers.

Lore[edit | edit source]
The Steel Sentinel is original to Hearthstone. This suit of armor once belonged to Anduin Lothar, after whom 
Anduin Wrynn was named by his father Varian, and was collected and put on display in the Hall of Explorers by the League of Explorers. It was later brought to life by Arch-Thief Rafaam using the Staff of Origination, in order to serve as a distraction while he attempted to ransack the Hall.
Following the Sentinel's defeat, the armor's left greave remained intact, and was given by Brann Bronzebeard to the explorer during their final battle with Arch-Thief Rafaam.[2] The armor subsequently reappears in slightly tamer form as Animated Armor.
