Trivia
- This card is infamous within the Hearthstone community as being the most blatant possible example of a "pack filler" ever released. The reason for this being for its originally horrible stat distribution and zero card text. Fortunately the backlash from this card (and a few others) was heard by the Hearthstone development team with the Journey to Un'Goro set featuring a lot more unique cards with interesting effects.[citation needed]
- This minion's summon quote is a parody of the lyrics of the 1950s song "Hound Dog", best known as an Elvis hit.
- Worgen Greaser was a part of Patch 22.6.1.1.1.1, an April Fools 2022 prank, with the announced Health change from 3 to 4.
- Later in Patch 23.0.0.135540, while undocumented, this change was actually secretly added to the live game.[1]
- Worgen Greaser was also a part of Patch 26.0.v3.final.final2.PR edit.FINAL, an April Fools 2023 prank, with only a dev comment: "EXCITING NEWS! No changes planned to Worgen Greaser this year."
- Worgen Greaser was buffed again with Patch 27.2.0.183876
