This card may be based on Death Pact, a former level 75 death knight talent which healed the death knight for 50% of their maximum but also absorbed incoming healing equal to 25% of their maximum health for 15 seconds. The talent was removed in Legion.
In Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, Death Pact is an ability that could be used by the Death Knight hero unit to kill a target friendly unit and give a percentage of its health to the Death Knight.
