Dr. Boom's Incredible Inventions
Dr. Boom's Incredible Inventions is Hearthstone's 11th mini-set, featuring 38 new collectible cards added to the Whizbang's Workshop set. It was released on May 14, 2024.[1]
This mini-set follows the events of Whizbang's Workshop, where Dr. Boom's been tinkering away in the basement of Whizbang's Workshop, working on his own line of toys to prove that he is the greatest toymaker and inventor in Azeroth. He's come up with something huge — gigantic, even — and he's ready to share it with the world.
Dr. Boom's Incredible Inventions features a new keyword: Gigantify. Cards with Gigantify function otherwise identically to Miniaturize cards, except they generate a 8 mana 8/8 copy of the card when played.

Lore[edit | edit source]
Much like Whizbang's Workshop, the premise of Dr. Boom's Incredible Inventions is original to Hearthstone. Instead of focusing on Whizbang's workshop as a whole, this mini-set focuses on the workshop's basement, where Dr. Boom is tinkering away.

Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Dr. Boom's Incredible Inventions is the first mini-set to feature a new keyword.
- The set was supposed to be named "Dr. Boom's Incredible Inventions (of Fun!)." Developers were asked to cut the "(of Fun!)" for length concerns.[3]
- Developers referred to the mini-set internally as "Misfit Toys" at the beginning, and the design ID on each card is
MIS_
for that reason.[3]
