Wild Event

Wild Event is a special card set created on October 8th 2019 as part of the Doom in the Tomb event. It contains 'event' copies of cards normally restricted to the Wild format, but is playable in Standard format. Wild Event cards are given to all players for free when they log in during certain events, and are removed from the game when the event is over. They cannot be crafted or disenchanted.

Wild Event cards can be differentiated from their regular counterparts by the lack of a watermark.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • Wild Event cards are treated as extra copies of the original. For players with both, their Wild decks can contain either the original or event card, but not more than the normal limit (2 for most rarities, 1 for Legendaries).
  • There are no obtainable Golden versions of Wild Event cards, even for players with Golden copies of the original card.
  • Wild Event cards can be generated by random card generating effects while they exist in Standard.
  • Both the regular and event versions of cards can appear in randomized Tavern Brawls.
