- This is a two-stage battle. After Kazakus is destroyed, he is replaced by Varden Dawngrasp.
- When the stage is changed, Kazakus' deck is replaced by Varden Dawngrasp's. Dawngrasp also draws four cards.
- The player's turn ends immediately if the stage has changed during the player's turn.
- At Start of Game the player chooses a hero power:
Xyrella, Scabbs, Tavish, or Cariel.
