Mogor the Ogre is a notorious ogre mage and former leader of the Laughing Skull clan. During the events following the Second War, Mogor and his clan betrayed Ner'zhul's Horde by aiding the Alliance Expedition in closing the Draenic side of  The Dark Portal. Sometime thereafter, Mogor seemingly abandoned the Laughing Skull and instead became the champion of the Warmaul clan, and now serves as the final encounter of the Ring of Blood in Nagrand.

Trivia

  • The artwork for this card comes from the World of Warcraft Trading Card Game "Crown of the Heavens" series, for the card Rage of the Elements.
  • Mogor is also depicted in the art for  Ogre Magi, a card which was part of the game's original set, long before Mogor himself was added.
  • Despite his flavor text, Mogor had no role in reopening  The Dark Portal. In Warcraft II: Beyond the Dark Portal, Ner'zhul's Horde defeated Mogor to gain control of his death knights. In the World of Warcraft: Beyond the Dark Portal novel, Mogor does not appear at all.
