History
Obliterate was originally a card that could only be generated by 
The Lich King, Arfus, and Transfer Student. After the introduction of the death knight class, Obliterate was made into a collectible card with the same mana cost (and before Patch 25.0.4.160910, the same effect too) as its predecessor.
Lore
Obliterate is a Frost death knight ability which causes the death knight to attack their target with both weapons, dealing heavy Physical damage. It is a staple of the Frost death knight's arsenal.
Trivia
- The artwork for this card comes from the World of Warcraft Trading Card Game "Reign of Fire" series, for the card Will from Beyond.
- It is a slightly edited version of the art with a red tint to match the Blood theme on death knight cards.
