I AM MY CARDS!

Midrange Demon Hunter (also known as Soul Demon Hunter) is a Demon Hunter deck type that looks to take early control of the board and snowball its lead in the later turns.

The archetype focuses on hero attacks, buffing weapons and using the demon hunter hero power  Demon Claws to efficiently control the board and pressure the opponent. Since the hero is used for most trading, Lifesteal is very important for this deck, particularly the healing provided by  Aldrachi Warblades. Past the early game, the deck tries to secure the board with large minions such as  Priestess of Fury and  Imprisoned Antaen, and removal spells like  Eye Beam. The deck also boasts great card draw - albeit card draw that requires some hand management - with cards like  Spectral Sight,  Crimson Sigil Runner, and  Skull of Gul'dan.

In Scholomance Academy, a variant of this deck appeared that makes heavy use of  Soul Fragment synergy cards to control the board and bolster their hero's attack with  Marrowslicer,  Soulshard Lapidary, and  Soulciologist Malicia.
