Template:Molten Blade notes

This weapon's in-hand effect is very similar to that of Shifter Zerus, but for weapons instead of minions. See that page for additional notes on this type of effect.
- Molten Blade immediately transforms into another weapon when entering the player's hand, and continues to swap at the start of the player's turns.
- This card may transform into any collectible weapon, but not uncollectible ones. It may turn into Molten Blade itself, although this will not produce any additional effect; it will simply continue shifting normally on the next turn.
- This effect triggers at the start of your turn, and retains its ability after transforming, indicated by an accompanying visual effect.[1]
- The transformation includes stats, abilities, mana cost, and class of the card.
- If the card is played, put into play by another effect, or copied, the resulting card will be the transformed one, without Molten Blade's ability.
- This weapon will lose enchantments granted to cards in the hand when it transforms.
- If Molten Blade transforms into a card with an ongoing in-hand effect such as Obsidian Shard, the ongoing effect and any of its benefits will not remain once the Blade has shifted again.[1]
This template contains notes for these cards.
Usually note templates are only created when the card's note is intended to be recycled in multiple articles, so that when you edit this template, all notes of this card on every page will be updated simultaneously.
