Start of Game is an ability which activates at the start of the game.

- Start of Game specifically triggers before the mulligan.
- As such, nothing the player does during the mulligan can affect whether or not any Start of Game effects will trigger.

- Before The Witchwood expansion,
Prince Malchezaar was the only card to feature the as-yet-to-be-named "Start of Game" mechanic. Prince Malchezaar's text was changed with Patch 11.0.0.23966 to include "Start of Game" in its card text.
